In Ethiopia, coffee grows at various altitudes, ranging from 550 to 2750 meters above sea level. Depending on the altitude and surrounding vegetation, Ethiopian coffee has different flavour from place to place.

It has average to good spinach/slight citric note

Limu

It has good light red wine and grape note

Gujji

It has very good black currant/black cumin, clove dark chocolate/mixed spice notes

Sidamo

It has good mixed spice taste, clove, cinnamon, rue, citric note

Yirgacheffee

It has very good floral/flowery/taste. Sometimes has light chocolate and almond flavour.

Lekempt

Good fruity note

Djimma

Average to good fruity note

Harrar

Has mocha (fresh butter) taste
